The Journeyman Automotive Technician is required to perform skilled tasks in the mechanical repair, maintenance and inspections of automobiles than run on electricity, gasoline, or alternative fuels like ethanol. The candidate must be able execute basic care maintenance like tire rotations and oil changes, diagnosing complex problems, and planning and executing vehicle repairs.
Work assignments will be received in the form of oral or written work orders, but the employee is expected to determine the nature and extent of needed repairs and communicate findings clearly and in a timely manner.
Role Requirements
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Overtime as required.
- Ability to lift or move over 50 lbs. at times.
